For the past 7 years, we’ve been traveling as a family (and a bunch of years as a couple prior). At first it was small and local as they were babies but as they grew and started to appreciate the adventures, we started to expand. In 2018, we decided to make the 2 week summer trip a tradition and have been building out adventures ever since.
This blog will showcase the itineraries and experiences from those big trips but also the small trips in between. Additionally, we’re avid skiers and have been traveling the US in search of good pow, so expect some of that content here as well.
The green hammock is a staple on most of our trips – it’s traveled across the US and to Hawaii with us and has has been joined by a second hammock as the kids got too big to share. There’s nothing I love more than to find two sturdy trees, over a lake or river, where I can hang my hammock and chill out (typically with a book).
